- Fix things for people standing in front of you, and be decent about it
- Own the network, the domain, or the server estate at a site
- Take the escalation that already burned through two tiers
- Do the cutover at 2am and document it so the next person is not guessing
What we look for
- One ticket you took from confusing to closed, start to finish
- How you talk to a frustrated user who is not technical
- Certifications where they matter, and hands-on where they do not
- What you have supported: how many users, how many sites, how old the estate
- Whether you are willing to be on site when the job is on site
